Money can make or break a wedding, as your budget is the sole factor that depicts the outcome of your day. As the Bride and Groom, you will of course want to stay within your wedding budget, so that you are able to receive all of the aspects you seek for your wedding.
Creating a wedding budget means that you will need to be aware of each and every amount of money that will need to be spent on your wedding, but oftentimes, couples forget that tipping wedding vendors should also be included as a wedding expense.
As previously discussed in our past two blog articles, tipping is never mandatory, however, it displays your appreciation for your wedding vendors, as a form of gratitude for their services within your wedding. Tipping however can become confusing, as there are so many wedding vendors that should all receive a certain amount, which is why Rose Petal Events has gathered even more vendors and the amounts that you should tip them, so be sure to continue reading for some more insight:
- Wedding coordinator. You can of course coordinate your wedding yourself, but why would you want to put even more weight on your shoulders? If you plan to utilize a wedding coordinator for your big day, allowing you to plan your wedding with ease, you should consider tipping them 10% - 15% of the total fee, or $50.00 each, for employees.
- Limousine Companies. Seeing as you will want to travel to and from you wedding in style, you most likely will have hired a limousine company for your big day. Oftentimes, gratuity is included within the contract, and is around $15% - 20% of the total cost. If the final bill is to be paid on your wedding day, then this is a task that the Best Man should handle.
- Wait staff. Your wedding guests deserve to be waited on, as they have all joined together to celebrate your big day. If you have decided to utilize a wait staff, you should tip them 15% - 20% of the total bill, which should be given to the head of the staff, with instructions to reflect that the amount is for the entire wait staff.
- All of your wedding guests will want to have a great time at your wedding, and alcohol can always be considered as a great source for entertainment. Hiring a bartender will ensure that your guests are served just as they should be, and if no tip is added within their contract, consider adding 10% of the total liquor bill for their services, as your guests should not be solicited for tips.
